Fei Deng

Fei Deng is a data professional with extensive experience in the mining and geoscience sectors. Currently serving as Principal Data at BHP since May 2023, Fei has previously held multiple roles at OZ Minerals from January 2008 to May 2023, including Senior Data Analyst and Geology Database Administrator. Earlier experience includes a position as Junior Field Geophysicist at PGS Onshore from October 2005 to December 2007. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Certificate in Data Science from the University of South Australia, a Graduate Diploma in Geographic Information System from Tafe SA, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Adelaide, and a Bachelor of Science in Physics & Geophysics from China.
