Ramin Rakhsha is an experienced mining engineer with a robust background in strategic and long-term planning across various mining sectors. Currently serving as a Principal Mining Engineer at BHP since February 2020, Ramin focuses on mineral resources and reserves public reporting and technical assurance globally. Prior experience includes roles at GOLD FIELDS and South32, where Ramin specialized in strategic and long-term mine planning for open pit mines. Ramin began a career in mining engineering with BHP and has also worked as a Geotechnical Engineer and Project Engineer in earlier positions. Ramin holds a Master's Degree in Mining Engineering from Curtin University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mining Engineering from Azad University - Shahrood, with ongoing education at The University of Western Australia.
