Mindy Chen

Mindy CHEN has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Mindy is currently serving as the Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at BI Incorporated. Prior to that, they were the COO and EVP of Innovation at KoKo, LLC, where they focused on driving new product innovation for remote health monitoring, particularly in respiratory health. Before that, Mindy was the Senior Vice President and CTO at Advanced Energy. Mindy also held several positions at IBM, including Vice President of Research Strategy, Operations, and Partnerships, Vice President of Corporate Strategy, Vice President of Worldwide Research Operations, and Director of Technology and IP Licensing. During their time at IBM, they played a key role in driving A.I. innovations, developing and implementing strategies to enhance IBM's competitive position, and overseeing research operations. Mindy also worked as a Program Director of Strategic Partnerships at IBM, where they led complex partnerships and facilitated the manufacturing of high-performance CPUs for servers and gaming consoles through technology alliances. Their work experience demonstrates their expertise in innovation, strategy, operations, research, and partnerships.

Mindy CHEN holds a Bachelor's degree in Language and Literature from Nanjing University. Mindy also has a Master of Science (MS) in Material Science and Engineering from UCLA. Mindy is a graduate of the Tech Executive Leadership Initiative from the Aspen Tech Policy Hub, which they obtained in 2021.
