Vladimir Lebedev serves as the CyberThreat Research Team Leader at BI.ZONE since July 2022, previously holding various positions at Kaspersky from 2006 to 2017, including Head of Behavior Detection Team and Senior Malware Analyst. In the role of Head of Behavior Detection Team, Vladimir successfully led a team of seven malware analysts, significantly reducing misses in external antivirus tests by 70% and developing a web portal to streamline team coordination. Earlier at Kaspersky, Vladimir analyzed large data sets for malware identification and improved the behavior detection engine, starting as a Shift Malware Analyst focused on program code analysis. Educational qualifications include a degree from Bauman Moscow State Technical University and studies at the Spanish-American Institute in New York City.
