Mitesha Aukhojee

Mitesha Aukhojee is an accomplished professional in quality management and food safety, currently serving as the Regional Quality Manager at BIA GROUP since November 2021, having previously held positions as Quality Specialist and Quality Officer for specific clusters. Prior experience includes a role as Quality Assurance Officer at Indigo Hotels Mauritius and a position at the European Food Safety Authority, where Mitesha contributed to the systematic review of pesticide alternatives in Europe. Additional experience includes a trainee position at CIRAD focusing on microbial analysis of palm sugar and a laboratory quality trainee role at Food & Allied Group. Mitesha holds a Master's degree in Food Marketing & Food Quality from CIHEAM Zaragoza and another Master's degree in Food Quality Management & Nutrition from the University of Montpellier, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Food Safety & Quality from the University of Mauritius.
