Kirk Hays

Kirk Hays is a Senior Firmware Engineer at Biamp Systems since September 2012, specializing in board bring-up, U-Boot configuration, and Linux generation using Yocto for various processors. Prior experience includes serving as a Graduate Student at Portland State University and founding Hays Ferron Associates, where Kirk held the role of Founder and Principal. Other notable positions include Founder and Principal Engineer at Niban Software, Principal Firmware Engineer at Teseda Corporation, and various roles at Intel and SRE, Inc. Kirk possesses expertise in real-time software, embedded systems, compilers, and parallel programming, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Systems Engineering from Northern Arizona University, complemented by further education at Portland State University.
