Joan Ascaso

Joan ASCASO is a qualified kinésithérapeute currently serving as the match physical therapist for the professional team at Biarritz Olympique Pays Basque since August 2022. With extensive experience in sports rehabilitation, Joan has worked in various capacities including as a licensed masteur kinésithérapeute at a rehabilitation clinic since 2018 and as a physical therapist for the Saint Jean de Luz Olympique Rugby club since July 2017. Notably, Joan was involved with the Biarritz Olympique Pays Basque team during the In Extenso SuperSevens tournament in 2021 and served as an assistant physical trainer during the pre-season for the professional team in 2017. Joan's educational background includes a DIU in Rugby Pathologies from Université de Bordeaux and several degrees in sports training and studies from various institutions.
