Marcelo Sedano

Marcelo Sedano is a software engineer who currently works at BiasSync, a company that builds software and tools to help mitigate the effects of unconscious bias in the workplace. Marcelo has been with BiasSync for 3 years and 9 months, and has held the positions of software engineering manager, senior software engineer, and software engineer during their time with the company. Prior to joining BiasSync, Marcelo worked at Ticketmaster for 3 years and 7 months, where they were a software engineer II, software engineer I, and software engineer intern. While at Ticketmaster, Marcelo worked on the Ticketing Services team to develop a REST API and web service to manage ticketing configurations for Ticketmaster clients using Java, MySQL, Spring, and JPA. Marcelo also developed a clean, intuitive front-end web application to interface with the back-end service using JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, HTML5, and CSS3. Marcelo has also been a mobile application developer (capstone) for Allstate and a freelance web developer/graphic designer.

Marcelo Sedano attended the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering at Arizona State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science. Theirstudies were conducted from 2013 to 2016.
