Mohamed Marwen Meddah

Mohamed Marwen Meddah has extensive experience in engineering and technology leadership roles. Mohamed Marwen is currently working as the Senior Director of Engineering at BiblioCommons. Prior to this, they held the same role at TribalScale where they provided technical leadership, supported software engineering teams, and enhanced company processes.

Before that, Mohamed worked as the VP of Engineering at Diply, leading software engineering, ad tech, and QA teams. Mohamed Marwen implemented a more efficient development structure and focused on hiring and team culture.

Mohamed Marwen also served as the Director of Digital Applications at Postmedia Network Inc., where they led software development, integration/dev ops, and support teams. Mohamed Marwen successfully rebuilt and relaunched the company's portfolio of websites and led the development of high-scale core data platforms and APIs.

Earlier in their career, Mohamed founded StartUpArabia, a project dedicated to promoting entrepreneurship in the Arab world. Mohamed Marwen also worked at Yahoo! as the Manager of Product Management and at Maktoob.com as the Director of Entertainment & UGC Products.

Prior to that, Mohamed held roles at Edatis as the Head of Web Development and the Head of Product Management. Mohamed Marwen led web development teams, focused on scaling products and introducing new features. Mohamed Marwen also worked at Global Voices Online as an Author in Tunisia and at MEA Equinoxes as a Project Manager.

Mohamed Marwen Meddah obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Jordan, completing the program from 1996 to 2000.
