Mariça van de Weerd

Mariça van de Weerd has extensive experience in program management and innovation within the library network of Groningen, currently serving as Manager Programma en Innovatie at Biblionet Groningen since September 2017. With a strong focus on social domains and literacy challenges, Mariça transitioned the library model into a community engagement hub as a Senior Advisor in these fields. Previous roles include Educational Policy Advisor at Drenthe College, Communication Advisor at GGD Drenthe, and various communication-focused positions in organizations such as Veiligheidsregio Groningen and the Gemeente Zeist.
