Elke Decates

Elke Decates is an experienced cultural programmer and freelancer in the cultural sector. Since February 2017, Elke has worked at Bibliotheek Gelderland Zuid as a Programmamaker Huis van de Letters, organizing literary and cultural events for adults. In addition to this role, Elke has been a freelance productiemedewerker since February 2015, collaborating with various clients after previous engagements with notable organizations such as Watershed and Wintertuin. Elke's earlier roles include programmamaker and project coordinator at Wintertuin, and programmacoördinator at Stichting Watershed. Elke holds a Master of Arts in Europese Letterkunde and a Bachelor of Arts in Algemene Cultuurwetenschappen from Radboud University, and has pursued studies at the University of Oslo and Modevakschool.
