Darinka Verbruggen-Thijs holds a Master's degree in History from Radboud University and has built extensive experience in programming, marketing, and communication within cultural and heritage organizations. Since December 2019, Darinka has been working at Bibliotheek Veenendaal as a Medewerker programmering & marketing en communicatie. Prior to this role, Darinka operated as a freelance professional from 2017 to December 2020, managing various projects for organizations such as Erfgoed Gelderland and RomeinenNU, focusing on social media, content editing, and event organization. Additionally, Darinka has volunteered as a graphic designer for Voedselbank Nijmegen and engaged in various roles within cultural committees, showcasing a strong commitment to public history and community engagement.
