Ellen van Hees

Ellen van Hees is an experienced professional currently serving as Directeur at Bibliotheek Veenendaal since May 2023, and as a member of the Raad van Toezicht at Bureau Ruimtekoers since July 2022, contributing to community art and participatory design in societal issues. Previously, Ellen held several roles at Veiligheids- en Gezondheidsregio Gelderland-Midden, including Manager Algemene Gezondheidszorg and Directieadviseur Publieke Gezondheid, providing strategic advice on public health issues from August 2013 to May 2023. Other notable past positions include Owner at mossa, a creative consultancy, and various advisory roles across public safety and health sectors. Ellen holds degrees from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and SIOO, along with training from Fotoacademie.
