David Raben

David Raben currently serves as Chief Medical Officer at Bicara Therapeutics since July 2023. Prior to this role, Raben was Vice President of Late Stage Oncology Development at Amgen from November 2021 to July 2023 and held a similar position at Genentech from September 2019 to June 2022. Raben's career also includes over 20 years as a Professor in Radiation Oncology at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, focusing on novel biologic therapies for advanced head and neck and lung cancers. Raben obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Duke University and earned a Doctor of Medicine from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, with additional education from Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
