Marius Balger

Marius Balger is an experienced executive with a strong background in leadership roles within the medical and diagnostics industry. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at BICO since March 2023, Marius previously held the position of Senior Vice President at Tecan from June 2017 to July 2021, and led BIT as CEO from October 2003 to June 2017. Marius served on the Board of Directors and as Chief Executive Officer at EMD Ltd. from March 2016 to May 2017, and was VP of Business Development at BIT Analytical Instruments GmbH from April 2001 to September 2003. Earlier in Marius's career, responsibilities included serving as Regional & General Manager for manroland Sheetfed, overseeing operations in Asia and the Pacific from January 1995 to April 2001. Marius holds a Dipl. Ing. in Mechanical Engineering from Technische Universität Darmstadt and completed a program in Law & Management at Universität St.Gallen.
