Eric von der Weid

Eric von der Weid has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Eric began their career in 1986 as a Technical Project Leader at Asea Brown Boveri, where they worked until 1997. During this time, they also held the position of Chef de projet at ABB Industrie AG from 1988 to 1997. In 1997, they joined Swisscom Fixnet as an International Network & Sales Manager, a role they held until 2005. At BICS (Belgacom International Carrier Services) Switzerland, they worked as a Capacity Trading Manager starting in July 2005, and concurrently served as an Account Manager for Mobile Data & Voice until December 2007.

Eric von der Weid completed their education in the field of business administration and electricity. Eric first attended EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) from 1980 to 1985, where they obtained a degree as a Polytechnic Engineer with a specialization in electricity. Later, from 1998 to 2000, Eric attended Université de Fribourg - Universität Freiburg and earned an MBA degree in Business Administration.
