Michael Marino has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and positions. Michael started their career as a Research Physical Therapist at Lenox Hill Hospital, where they conducted injury profiling and research for various sports teams and co-authored textbooks and research papers in sports medicine. Michael then transitioned to the advertising industry, working as an Advertising Copywriter at Dugan Farley before moving on to roles such as President and Creative Director at Publicis LifeBrands Medicus, where they led a $250MM agency providing consumer and medical communications for major clients. Marino also worked as the Managing Director at Publicis LifeBrands Medicus, where they stabilized and grew the client base across multiple European offices.
In their later career, Marino served as the Chief Strategy Officer at MSL (Global), a global strategy and public relations agency, where they were responsible for global client strategy and business development for Fortune 100 corporations. Michael then became the President and CEO of Big Arrow Group, a full-service advertising agency specializing in regulated markets. Most recently, Marino served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Wellbridge Addiction Treatment and Research, where they created the marketing programs and led market research and analytics for a new addiction treatment facility.
Throughout their career, Marino has displayed expertise in building brand equity, developing go-to-market strategies, leading cross-disciplinary teams, and driving business growth.
Michael Marino has a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Ithaca College. Michael is also a certified Physical Therapist by the New York State Education Department.
