Mia Morris

Mia Morris has over a decade of experience in coordinating, supporting, and educating individuals and families within various organizations. Currently serving as the Site Based Coordinator at Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Texas since February 2014, Mia provides coaching and mediation for volunteers, parents, and youth while assessing their training and support needs. Previous roles include Patient Support Specialist at Faith Family Medical Clinic, where evaluations and crisis counseling were key responsibilities, and Parent Education Facilitator at Baptist Child and Family Services, focusing on parent education sessions. Additional experience as a Resident Services Coordinator at Merced Housing of Texas involved community partnerships and resource dissemination, while the role of Health Educator/Programs Manager at Social and Health Research Center included developing health programs in schools. Mia holds a Master's Degree in Counseling and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Human Services from Wayland Baptist University.
