Nancy Winemiller-Basinger

Nancy Winemiller-Basinger serves as the President & CEO of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Utah since January 2015. With extensive academic experience at the University of Utah spanning from 2002 to 2017, Nancy held roles as Adjunct Faculty Instructor and Assistant Professor, teaching and conducting research on nonprofit theory, management, and related topics. Additionally, Nancy served as Engaged Faculty Director, overseeing strategic goals in engaged scholarship. A consultant from 2008 to 2010, Nancy evaluated educational programs for young adults with intellectual disabilities. Earlier, as Director of Finance for Options for Better Living from 1990 to 1997, financial management responsibilities included payroll and financial statement preparation. Nancy holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Political Science from The University of Georgia, a Master's Degree in Public Administration and Nonprofit Management from Indiana University Bloomington, and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from the same institution.
