Jonathan Cherry

Jonathan Cherry, MPA, is an accomplished security professional with extensive experience in executive protective operations and physical security. Currently serving as President and Security Consultant at Senators Security Consulting, LLC since June 2016, Cherry also provides security consulting for the Big Ten Conference and previously worked with the Minnesota Vikings Football, LLC until August 2022. Cherry has a notable background with the U.S. Secret Service, retiring as Deputy Special Agent in Charge of the Clinton Protection Division after over 26 years of service. Early career experience includes a role as a staffing specialist for the Secret Service's Personnel Division and as a procurement analyst co-op student with the U.S. Customs Service. Cherry holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the School of Public Affairs at American University and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Old Dominion University.
