Mike J.

Mike J. has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Mike most recently worked as the Director of Research at Big V Property Group starting in September 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Head of Custom Research at Coresight Research from February 2022 to September 2022.

Before their roles in research, Mike worked as a Retail Research Manager at ShopCore Properties from May 2017 to February 2022. Mike also held the position of National Accounts Director at DDR Corp. from March 2003 to April 2017, where they managed national accounts.

In their earlier career, Mike gained experience in the music industry, working as a Sales & Distribution Manager at Thrill Jockey Records from November 2000 to August 2002, and as a Direct Distribution Sales Manager at Southern Records from September 1999 to November 2000. In the latter role, they successfully generated sales for an independent music label and formed new retail relationships through cold calling and sales strategies.

Mike J. completed their Bachelor of Arts degree, Summa Cum Laude, in Business Management & Administration from Baldwin Wallace University between 2009 and 2012. Prior to that, they studied English at Cleveland State University from 1995 to 1999 without obtaining a degree. In 2019, they obtained a Retail Education Certificate from Shoptalk.
