Chris Gelwix

Chris Gelwix began their work experience in 1999 as an Internal Auditor for UnitedHealth Group. Chris then moved on to National City Bank, where they continued working as an Internal Auditor until 2001. From 2001 to 2004, Gelwix worked at NRG Energy as a Scheduling Specialist. In 2004, they joined DTE Energy Trading and held various roles, including Energy Scheduler, Financial Risk Associate, Operations Analyst, and Programmer/Analyst. Gelwix spent a year working at Michigan First Credit Union as a .NET Programmer - Team Lead before joining ProModel Corporation in 2014. At ProModel Corporation, they worked as a Software Developer and later became a Software Development Team Lead. Gelwix is currently employed at BigBear.ai as a Software Development Team Lead at ProModel Government Solutions.

Chris Gelwix received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting/Business Administration from The University of Kansas, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Lansing High School from 1991 to 1995 and Chugiak High School in 1990-1991. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from Microsoft, including MCPD: Web Developer, MCTS: SharePoint 2010, Application Development, and MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional. Furthermore, they are a Certified ScrumMaster certified by the Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in August 2023.
