Bruce Pon

Bruce Pon is the founder and CEO of BigchainDB, a database service that allows creators to register and track intellectual property on a blockchain. Prior to BigchainDB, Pon was the founder and CEO of ascribe.io, a service for creators to register and track intellectual property on a blockchain. Bruce has also served as a partner and international project manager at Avantalion Consulting Group AG and Daimler AG.

Bruce Pon attended the University of Saskatchewan, where they received a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Bruce also holds certifications from the IEMT in Integral Eye Movement Therapy, from NLP School Ltd in Master Practitioner of NLP, and from the University of Cambridge in CELTA - University of Cambridge. Bruce has also completed the Advanced Certificate for Executives in Management, Innovation and Technology (ACE) from the MIT Sloan School of Management and the Executive Education program from IMD.
