Chris Boulton

Chris Boulton is an experienced infrastructure engineering leader currently serving as the Vice President of Infrastructure Engineering at BigCommerce since October 2007. Over the years at BigCommerce, Chris has held various positions, including Senior Director, Director, and Principal Systems Architect, contributing significantly to the development and management of the company's SaaS e-commerce platform, which supports over 60,000 businesses. Prior to BigCommerce, Chris was a Lead Developer and System Administrator at Interspire, where key accomplishments included the conversion of the Interspire Shopping Cart and the development of the online ordering system. Chris also provided freelance system administration services and worked as a Systems & Network Administrator for the NSW Department of Education, achieving a zero downtime migration from Windows NT 4.
