John Koelndorfer

John Koelndorfer is a highly experienced technical professional with a strong background in cloud infrastructure and development. Currently serving as Lead Infrastructure Engineer at BigCommerce since May 2022, John leads a team focused on Google Cloud Platform, significantly improving the development environment for over 200 engineers. Previously, John held various roles including Senior Developer at AerisWeather, where leadership in AWS infrastructure and cost savings projects generated substantial savings, and Site Reliability Engineer at NovuHealth, where performance enhancements were achieved. Additional experience includes positions at Calix, Zipnosis, General Mills, and the University of Minnesota, encompassing roles in automation, systems administration, and technical support. John earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Minnesota in 2011.
