Pascal Zajac

Pascal Zajac is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in software engineering and development. Currently serving as Vice President of Software Engineering at BigCommerce since December 2012, Pascal has held multiple leadership roles, including Senior Director of Engineering and Director of Engineering, overseeing teams of engineers and shaping product and technology strategies. Pascal has a successful track record in frontend architecture decisions, notably choosing React over Angular, and has significantly contributed to improving delivery quality through cultural and technical initiatives. Prior experience includes roles at Coconut Graphics as a Web Developer, where Pascal designed and implemented bespoke software solutions, and as a Senior Software Engineer at Singtel Optus, leading development for the My Doorstep website. Pascal holds a Bachelor of Information Technology from the University of Newcastle, obtained in 2008.
