Rachel Sipler is a Senior Research Scientist and the Director of the Center for Water Health and Humans at Bigelow Laboratory for Ocean Sciences. Rachel previously worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science from May 2009 to May 2012. Rachel's research focuses on the impacts of climate change on coastal ecosystems and human health. Rachel has published several papers on their findings and is a respected voice in the scientific community on this topic.
Rachel Sipler has a Ph.D. in Oceanography from Rutgers University-New Brunswick, a B.S. in Biology from Salisbury University, and a B.S. in Environmental Science from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
