Richard Hay

Richard Hay is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in data science and engineering. Currently serving as the Co-Founder of bigspark since October 2019 and as the Data Science Engineering Lead at NatWest Group, Richard excels in designing and building data science platforms while supporting various initiatives. Prior experience includes roles at the Royal Bank of Scotland, where Richard was a Big Data Engineer and focused on architecture and platform development, and at Nomura International, where responsibilities included managing deliveries for OTC derivative platforms and leading development efforts. Richard holds a BSc in Biology from the University of Leeds, obtained in 2000.
