Mark Thompson has a diverse work experience in the creative industry. Mark started their career as a Designer at Northern Lights Post in 2002 and worked there until 2019. During their time there, they contributed to various projects. In 2008, they joined Imaginary Forces as an Animator and worked with notable clients such as NBC, Google, Riot Games, Reeses, and Viacom. Mark also freelanced as a Motion Graphic Designer from 2013 to 2017. In 2016, they worked for Showtime Networks Inc. as an Animator and Designer for a documentary series called "Dark Net."

Mark's experience includes working as a Freelance Designer/Animator at RadicalMedia LLC from 2016 to 2020. Mark also worked at Future Colossal in 2019, where they produced a video for an art installation called "The Arctic Refuge Experience." In the same year, they joined The History Channel and worked on the miniseries "Grant," bringing a fresh perspective to historical documentaries. Mark then worked at HBO in 2019 on a project called "Atlanta's Missing and Murdered: The Lost Children."

In 2020, Mark worked as a Creative Director at Summer of Soul, showcasing their creative skills. Mark also became a Voting Member at the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Currently, they hold the position of Creative Director at BigStar, starting from 2021. Overall, Mark Thompson's work experience spans a range of creative roles and industries, showcasing their versatility and expertise.

Mark Thompson obtained their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Electronic Intermedia from the University of Florida, where they studied from 1991 to 1996. Following this, they pursued further education at the School of Visual Arts, where they earned their Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Computer Art, completing their studies from 1997 to 2000.
