Stephan Storchenegger

Stephan Storchenegger has extensive experience in the field of Human Resources. Stephan currently holds the position of Head People, Culture & Communication at BIL Suisse since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Swiss Re as Head HR Corporate Functions and Enabling Units from May 2015 to April 2021. Before joining Swiss Re, they served as the Head of Group Human Resources at Bank J. Safra Sarasin Ltd from July 2007 to April 2015. Stephan also gained experience at Credit Suisse as a Senior Manager HR PB - Private Banking International from April 2003 to June 2007. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Global Human Resources Business Partner at Winterthur Group from April 2001 to April 2003. Stephan Storchenegger began their career in the hospitality industry, holding the position of Human Resources Manager at Hilton Hotels & Resorts from June 1994 to March 2001.

Stephan Storchenegger has a diverse education history consisting of various courses and degrees. In 1989, they obtained a High School Diploma from Institut Montana Zugerberg AG. From 1991 to 1995, they attended SHL Schweizerische Hotelfachschule Luzern, where they earned a degree in Hotelier HF, specializing in Hotel Management. In 1997 and 1999, they completed the Financial and Commercial Awareness / Management Effectiveness Programme at MCE - Management Centre Europe. In 2005, they enrolled at ZHAW Zurich University of Applied Sciences, focusing on Human Capital Management, and completed their studies in 2008. Stephan furthered their education in 2018 at Fachschule für Personalvorsorge, specializing in Ausbildung für Stiftungsräte. In 2019, they took part in the Certified Agile Leadership course offered by Scrum Alliance. Most recently, in 2021, Stephan attended Harvard Business School and earned a degree in The HR Executive Suite Connection. Additionally, they obtained a certification in The HR Executive Suite Connection from Harvard Business School in May 2021.
