Emily Wagner

Emily Wagner possesses extensive teaching experience, currently serving as a 5th and 6th Grade ELA Teacher at Baltimore City Public Schools since August 2021. Wagner has been a 3rd Grade Teacher at Houston ISD since 2014, previously teaching 2nd Grade ELA/Social Studies. Additionally, Wagner has been an ESL instructor for adults at the Bilingual Education Institute since July 2011 and has provided tutoring for struggling readers. Prior experience includes teaching 2nd and 4th grade ESL at HISD from 2008 to 2010 and notable roles in television as a Producer at KHOU-TV and KYTV. Wagner holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Houston and studied Broadcast Journalism at Syracuse University.
