Shelly H.

Shelly H. is an experienced educator with a strong background in teaching English and history across various educational institutions. Currently serving as an Educator at One School of the Arts since 2020, Shelly has been recognized as the HS Teacher of the Year in 2024. In addition, Shelly instructs English for adult learners at the Bilingual Education Institute. Shelly's prior roles include working as an English Instructor at OHLA - Open Hearts Language Academy, guiding students at Pine Castle Christian Academy, and teaching a variety of subjects at Potter's House Academy. Shelly has held positions at Southern Technical College as an Adjunct Professor and THA Academy in both teaching and administrative roles, with an early career at Boys Town where curriculum development took place for grades 6-12. Shelly holds multiple master's degrees in English Education, Grant Writing, and Higher Education, along with a bachelor's degree in Education.
