Damien Scott has a diverse work experience in the media industry. Damien started their career as an Associate Editor at RIDES Magazine in 2007, and then worked as a Staff Writer at COMPLEX Media from 2008 to 2013. In 2013, they joined Time Inc. as a Reporter before returning to COMPLEX Media as a Deputy Editor and later as an Executive Editor. In 2014, they became the Senior Director of Content at BET Networks. Damien then worked at Hearst Digital Media as a Branded Content Editor before joining Complex Networks as the Director of Content and later as the Editor-In-Chief & VP of Content and Development. In 2020, they became the President of Dreamville before moving on to become the Head of Brand Strategy & Editorial at UnitedMasters. Currently, Damien Scott works as the Deputy Editorial Director at Billboard.
