Michal Hermansky

Michal Hermansky has a diverse work experience in the field of data analysis and business intelligence. Michal started their career at ActumCZ in 2013 as a Data Analyst and later moved to Actum+ in 2014 for a short-term role in the same capacity. In 2015, they joined Billigence as a Business Intelligence Analyst and worked until the end of 2016.

In 2017, Michal joined Czechitas as a Lecturer and Mentor, where they contributed to the teaching and mentoring of students. Concurrently, they also worked at Billigence as a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant from 2017 until March 2021. During this time, they gained expertise in implementing Collibra on a large scale and played a crucial role in designing and delivering data governance solutions for the Banking, Insurance, and Pharmaceutical industries in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Michal Hermansky returned to Billigence in March 2021 as a Data Governance Lead for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, further showcasing their results-oriented approach and specialization in data governance for various verticals.

Michal Hermansky obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Informatics from Prague University of Economics and Business from 2011 to 2014. Michal then pursued their Ing. (Eng.) degree in Information Technology at the same university from 2014 to 2017. In 2015, they also briefly studied Managerial Psychology and Sociology as part of their Ing. (Eng.) degree. Prior to their university education, Michal completed their high school education in Information Technology at SPŠ Kutná Hora from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Michal Hermansky has obtained various certifications. Michal became a Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) from Dama International in September 2022. Michal acquired the Snowflake Technical Sales Professional Accreditation from Snowflake in June 2021. In December 2019, they achieved the Collibra Expert III certification from Collibra. Furthermore, they obtained the Partner Sales Accreditation from Tableau Software in July 2017. In October 2016, they became an Alteryx Certified Professional from Alteryx. Michal also holds a Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) certification from the Project Management Institute, obtained in May 2018. In the same year, they acquired the Tableau Server Qualified Associate certification from Tableau Software. Additionally, they hold the Tableau Desktop Qualified Associate certification, although the month of acquisition is unavailable.
