Rachel Pothast

Rachel Pothast is a seasoned genetic counselor with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as Principal Genetic Counselor and GC Operations Lead at BillionToOne since May 2022, Rachel has previously held the position of Lead Genetic Counselor. Prior to that, Rachel worked as a Genetic Counselor at Reproductive Genetic Innovations from May 2018 to May 2022 and at Northwestern Medicine from April 2009 to May 2022. Rachel holds a Master of Science degree in Genetic Counseling from Northwestern University, where studies were completed in May 1999.
