Sara Hedin Ekelund

Sara Hedin Ekelund has over 20 years of experience in the legal industry. Sara began their career in 2001 as an Associate at Advokatfirman Ekelund. From 2001-2011, they held roles as Legal Counsel for both Amersham Biosciences AB and GE Healthcare. During their time at GE Healthcare, they were responsible for providing legal support to their Life Sciences businesses, conducting due diligence reviews, and managing outside counsel. From 2011-2021, they worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as Country Counsel Sweden, Finland & the Baltics and Country Counsel Sweden, where they managed the legal team and the Compliance Committees, and provided end-to-end legal support to Country Management teams and business units. Currently, they are General Counsel at Billogram.

Sara Hedin Ekelund completed their highschool education at Rudbecksskolan in 1991-1994, where they studied Economics. In 1994, they also studied French at Stockholm University. Sara then obtained an LL.M. in Law from Stockholm University in 1995-2001. In 2015-2016, they were a Mentee in the Swedish leadership development and mentoring program, Womentor. In 2017, they were a Mentee in the Leadership Development and Mentoring Program for Senior Women Leaders, Ruter Dam.
