Anand Phanse

Anand Phanse has extensive experience in the finance and technology sectors. Anand is currently the Chief Financial Officer at Pelican.ai, a company that provides AI-powered solutions for the payments industry. In this role, Anand partners with customers to deliver innovative and agile solutions to reduce costs and drive growth.

Prior to Pelican.ai, Anand held multiple roles at Billon, a technology company specializing in blockchain solutions. Anand started as a Business Innovation Coach and later became a Non-Executive Director and the Chief Financial Officer. During their time at Billon, Anand successfully completed a $6 million series A funding round.

Anand also worked as a Business Innovation Coach at the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA), where they provided coaching to innovative companies that received grant funding. Anand has expertise in areas such as FinTech and Clean Energy.

Before their roles at Billon and EISMEA, Anand served as the Managing Director of Actinide Limited, a company focused on business management and consulting. Anand also worked as a Partner and Investment Director at Fjord Capital, where they managed operations, finance, and IT functions, as well as led investment initiatives.

Anand's earlier career includes roles at World Economic Forum as a Global Leadership Fellow, Lehman Brothers as a Senior Business Analyst, and Bear Stearns & Co. as an Associate.

Throughout their career, Anand has demonstrated skills in financial management, strategic planning, business development, and investment analysis.

Anand Phanse completed an Executive Masters in Global Leadership from the World Economic Forum Global Leadership Fellow program in the year 2007. Prior to that, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the International University of Japan from 2002 to 2004, specializing in Finance and International Management.
