Jennifer W. Smith is an experienced professional with a diverse work history. Jennifer began their career at KnowledgePoints Learning Centers as a Senior Director of Learning, where they coordinated operations and sales for multiple learning centers and off-site programs. During their time there, they improved tutoring activity records and automated the initial reading program plan.
Jennifer then moved on to Hajoca Corporation, where they held several roles. As an Internal Auditor, they directed the annual internal and external audit team's test of controls and performed essential internal audit functions. Jennifer also developed an internal auditor training program. Later, as the Manager of Accounts Receivable, Jennifer organized and led the completion of accounts receivable tasks and managed a team of onsite and remote employees. Prior to that, they served as a Trainer and Project Manager, planning and leading an ERP consolidation project and supporting and training team members in accounts receivable and accounting.
Most recently, Jennifer has been working at Billtrust. Jennifer started as a Project Manager and then transitioned to the role of Solution Architect. In this position, they provided support as a subject matter expert to multiple teams and led pre-sales conversations with internal and external stakeholders. Jennifer also wrote and reviewed statements of work for current and new customers. Jennifer eventually became a Team Lead, where they served as a player/coach for a team of Solutions Architects and provided support as a subject matter expert for all available products. In their most recent role as Manager of Solutions Architects, they led a team responsible for completing pre-sales tasks and supporting multiple teams, while also mentoring other employees and implementing process improvements.
Jennifer W. Smith obtained their first Bachelor's degree in Biology from Villanova University in 1997. Jennifer then pursued a second Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from the same university, completing it in 1998. Following this, they attended Capella University from 2007 to 2010 to earn a Master's degree in Industrial & Organizational Psychology.
