Nathan Simmons

Nathan Simmons has extensive experience in database administration and engineering. Nathan most recently worked at Billtrust, initially as a Database Administrator from October 2018 to February 2021, then as a Senior Database Administrator from February 2021 to March 2023, and finally as a Lead Database Engineer from February 2023 onwards. Prior to Billtrust, Nathan worked at Jeffco Public Schools as a Database Administrator from July 2015 to July 2018. Nathan also gained experience at International Data Science Corporation as a Database Administrator from August 2012 to July 2015, and at Catalyst Repository Systems as an SQL Developer DBA from April 2010 to August 2012. Nathan's early career includes roles at Intela, LLC, where they worked as an Internet and E-mail Systems Analyst from May 2006 to March 2008, and as a Database Administrator from March 2008 to April 2010, specifically working with Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and MySQL 5.0.

Nathan Simmons obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mathematics from the University of Northern Colorado, completing their education between the years 2002 and 2005. Following this, they attended LHS, but there is no further information available regarding their degree or field of study. Nathan also underwent training in MySQL HA, although there are no details about the duration or completion of this program.
