Nick Brett has a varied work experience in the education and sports industry. Nick started their career in 2002 as a Graduate Assistant Football Coach at Mississippi State University. Nick then moved to East Mississippi Community College in 2005, where they worked as an Assistant Football Coach. In 2006, they joined Gulfport School District as a PE Teacher and Assistant Football Coach. After two years, they joined Biloxi Public Schools in 2008, where they served as the Director of Football Operations and Cyber Foundations Teacher.
Nick Brett earned an associate's degree in Behavioral Sciences from East Mississippi Community College, starting in 1997 and completing it in 1999. Nick then pursued a bachelor's degree in Physical Education Teaching and Coaching at Mississippi State University, which they began in 1999 and finished in 2002. Nick continued their education at Mississippi State University, completing a Master of Science degree in Technology from 2002 to 2005.
