Suramya Gupta

Suramya Gupta is a seasoned professional in asset management and venture capital, currently serving as the Managing Partner and Founder of CapitalSG since August 2019, where the focus is on facilitating investment mandates for global institutional investors in Asia. In addition to this role, Gupta holds several strategic positions including Board Member at Milvik Bima, a global digital health and insurance firm, and Nium, a global financial services platform, as well as serving as a Non-Executive Director at Validus Capital and Innoviti Payment Solutions. Gupta contributes to the fintech space through advisory roles at Maerifa Solutions and serves on the board of Bank-Genie, a Singapore-based FinTech company. Previous experience includes being a Fund Manager at SBI Holdings and a member of the Investment Committee at Maj Invest, alongside co-authoring "The PAYTECH Book." Gupta's educational background includes an MBA in Strategy and Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering.
