Fernando Valverde has a diverse range of work experience. Fernando started their career as an Industrial Engineer Assistant at Farmindustria S.A. - Abbott EPD Perú and later worked as a Financial Analyst in the same company. Fernando then joined Real Time Management as a Management Consultant, where they advised companies on procurement management and strategy. Fernando also worked as a Project Manager in the same company. After that, they served as the General Manager at R&T Arquitectos.
Valverde then co-founded Dónume, a Greeting Card business, where they played a key role in the discovery and ideation process, as well as in the business strategy and marketing. Fernando later joined Bimbo Bakeries USA as a Manager of Strategy, where they led various projects involving cross-functional collaboration.
Their next roles at Bimbo QSR included Senior Manager of Global PMO & Strategy and Global Lead of Finance. Currently, they hold the position of Global Vice President of Finance & Strategy (CFO) at Bimbo QSR, where they are responsible for the global financial leadership of the business.
Fernando Valverde pursued their education starting in 2003, when they enrolled at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. There, they completed a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, which lasted from 2003 to 2007. Later, in 2008, Valverde attended the EADA Business School, where they focused on Finance, General. This particular program lasted until 2009. Lastly, Valverde joined the University of Michigan - Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 2014, earning a Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in Marketing and Strategy. This course of study concluded in 2016.
