🍺 James Rule

James Rule has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. James started as a Google Student Ambassador in 2014, where they promoted Google's products and services to students. In 2015, they co-founded Wollongong Information Technology Society and also worked as an Academic Tutor at the University of Wollongong Enterprises. James then became the 2IC/Sponsor Relations at Hackagong, the largest independent hackathon event in Australia at the time. In the same year, they joined ICT Illawarra as a Secretary and Board Member, contributing to the growth of the ICT industry in the region.

In 2016, James worked at WiseTech Global as a Delivery Manager and later as a Desktop Support. James then moved to Enviro Building Services in 2017, where they became an IoT Systems Architect. In 2018, they joined Binary Beer Pty Ltd as the Head of Product, followed by Binary Tech in 2019. In 2023, they started working at Binary Med as the Head of Product. Throughout their career, James has gained experience in product management, systems architecture, IT support, and board member responsibilities.

James Rule completed a Bachelor of Information Technology with a specialization in Network Management and Design / Web Applications from the University of Wollongong between 2013 and 2017. In 2016, they also obtained a degree in Black Belt in Thinking from www.blackbeltinthinking.com, where they studied Thinking Processes, DBR, ABC, and Behavioral Psychology. Prior to their university education, they completed their Higher School Certificate at Lake Illawarra High School from 2005 to 2010. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as The Art of Internal Auditing from the National Association of Testing Authorities, Australia in October 2022, Black Belt in Thinking from ViAGO International Limited in July 2016, and Certificate 3 in Hospitality from the NSW Department of Education and Communities in July 2014.
