Selen O.

Selen O. has a diverse work experience starting in 2019 as a Project Intern at Istanbul University. In 2020, they worked as an Information Security Specialist at Teleperformance Türkiye, where they were part of an Information Security team responsible for managing and auditing internal sources, tools, devices, and company standards. Selen contributed to creating safer working environments for customer service by addressing issues such as authorization, data leakage, and device hardening. Additionally, Selen was involved in auditing and reporting compliance with ISO 27001 and PCI DSS standards. In 2021, they joined Invicti Security as a Junior Vulnerability Researcher and later transitioned to the role of Vulnerability Research Engineer in 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Quality Engineer at BinBin, starting in October 2022.

Selen O. obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Karadeniz Technical University, graduating in 2020. In addition to their degree, Selen O. has obtained several certifications. In May 2019, they completed the Cisco Networking Academy Wireless Networks course offered by the Turkish Network Administrators Association (AYD). In April 2019, they also completed the Cisco Networking Academy Introduction to Cyber Security course, again offered by the Turkish Network Administrators Association (AYD). Most recently, in August 2020, Selen O. obtained the Certified Network Security Specialist (CNSS) certification from the ICSI (International CyberSecurity Institute) in the United Kingdom.
