Andrew Anningson has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Andrew started their career at Salter Street Films / Salter Digital in 1997, working in video post-production for various productions. In 2003, they founded their own closed captioning and transcription company called EK Productions Closed Captioning. Andrew then joined Halifax Film Children's Studio in 2006 as a production manager. In 2009, they worked as a production manager for Canadas Super Speller / Egg Head Productions Inc., managing a cross-country series with large studio productions. Andrew also served as a post-production supervisor at Snap III Productions during the same year. From 2009 to 2011, they worked as a post-production supervisor at Privateer Productions Inc. In 2011, they joined DHX Media, where they held various roles, including post-production supervisor, production manager, episodic director, and studio operations manager. Andrew played a key role in growing the studio from approximately 50 artists to over 255 and achieved a less than 1% turnover rate over the past five years. In 2018, they worked in operations and recruiting at Copernicus Studios before joining The Writers Guild of Canada in 2013 as the Nova Scotian delegate. Currently, they serve as the Chief Content Officer at Binogi International since December 2021 and the Head of Production in Canada from August 2019 to December 2021.
Andrew Anningson has attended Acadia University, where they pursued a Bsc degree in Psychology. Additionally, they have also studied at Maine Media College, specializing in still photography and earning a professional certificate.
