Hendrik Waegeman possesses extensive experience in business development and operations within the biotechnology sector. Currently serving as Head of Business Operations and Head of Business Development at Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant since March 2012, Hendrik focuses on project coordination, business development, contract negotiation, and technology transfer related to bio-based processes and products. In addition to these roles, Hendrik has been involved in various governance positions, including Board Member roles at Bio-based Industries Consortium, Bio.be, Smart Delta Resources, and Inbiose. Academic contributions include a past position as a Post-doctoral researcher at Ghent University and guest lecturer at the University of Incheon.
