Jonathan Plehn

Jonathan Plehn has a diverse work experience spanning over twenty-five years. Jonathan currently holds multiple roles at Huma, including President, Member of the Board of Directors, and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to their current position, Plehn worked at Newpark Resources, Inc as the VP Finance & Treasurer and Senior Director of Finance for the Western Hemisphere. Jonathan was responsible for managing a $700M business, overseeing regional business unit controllers, and leading finance functions. Plehn also has experience at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where they served as a Director of Finance in various divisions, including the global Environmental & Process Monitoring business and the IT division. Before joining Thermo Fisher Scientific, Plehn worked at Applied Biosystems as a Global Consolidations Manager and Senior Financial Analyst. Jonathan started their career at OffRoad Capital Corp. as a Financial Reporting Database Administrator and began at Morgan Stanley as an entry-level Account Manager, eventually becoming a Senior Account Manager and Operations Support Supervisor. Plehn has a strong background in finance, leadership, and operations support.

Jonathan Plehn obtained a Certificate in Lean Executive Leadership Institute from the University of Kentucky. Prior to that, they pursued an MBA in Computer Information Systems at the California State University - East Bay from 2003 to 2005. In their earlier years, they attended the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business from 1997 to 2000, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting.
