Joris Totté

Joris Totté currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of BIO - the Belgian Investment Company for Developing Countries, with the appointment effective March 1, 2024. Since October 2022, Totté is a Co-Founder and Venture Partner at Airborn, focusing on combining cooperatives with venture capital to support startups. Additionally, Totté has been a Member of the Board of Directors at Credendo since February 2022. Previous roles include positions at FOD Buitenlandse Zaken in various capacities, including Advisor to the minister of development cooperation, and a Policy Advisor and Volunteer Coordinator at Oxfam-Wereldwinkels. Totté holds an MBA from the EuroMBA Consortium and advanced degrees in Political Science from KU Leuven and Communication Science from the University of Antwerp.
