Maxime Pirson

Maxime Pirson is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investment and project finance. Currently serving as a Senior Investment Officer at BIO - the Belgian Investment Company for Developing Countries since May 2017, Maxime previously held multiple roles at BNP Paribas Fortis, including Auditor and Director of Export Finance Europe. Prior experience includes Head of Export Finance Turkey at BNP Paribas and Senior Vice President of Project Finance - Energy, Petrochemicals, Oil & Gas at Fortis Bank. Maxime began a career at Fortis Bank as a Manager in Export & Project Finance for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, following a management trainee position. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Ichec Brussels Management School, a Post-graduate degree in European Studies from Université catholique de Louvain, and a Master’s degree in Intercultural Management from Ichec Brussels Management School.
