Karsten Fjarstedt

Karsten Fjarstedt is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the life sciences and biotechnology sectors. Currently serving as COO and VP of Marketing & Business Development at Bio-Works Technologies since June 2017, Karsten also held the Managing Director position at Karica Consulting AB since September 2013. Previous roles include CEO of Denator AB, where Karsten led the strategic direction and commercialization of innovative technologies, and various leadership positions at GE Healthcare Life Sciences, including Integration Leader and Commercial Strategy Leader. Karsten's career began at Amersham Pharmacia Biotech, where foundational work was done in product management for chromatography systems. Karsten holds a Master of Science in Chemical Technology from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Technical High-School in Uppsala, Sweden.
